Closed for the Season

Thank you for sharing a wonderful 2021 Farm Market season with us! We enjoyed every minute of the last year, and now its time to rest and rejuvenate for 2022! Our greenhouses are operational just a few short weeks after the first of the year and (weather dependent) we typically try to have our market open with limited dates in April. Check back in the Spring for updates on what we will have to offer next year!

Fall Family Weekends

Our Fall Family Fun Weekends offer an added attraction on Saturdays and Sundays, starting September 18th through October 30th. We offer a one of a kind, family friendly, budget friendly, experience that everyone is sure to enjoy. There is no admission fee or parking fee to come on the grounds and experience the wonderful scenes of fall on our farm. You have access to all activity and play areas at no extra charge. Come and explore our sunflower patch, corn maze, crazy maze, tiny town play village, rock pits, straw stack slide zone, straw maze, farm animals, picture scenes and tons upon tons of PUMPKINS. In addition to these activities, weekends offer two hayride experiences. One that takes you along the Great Miami River to view our hayride scenes and stops at our pick your own pumpkin patch. Here you have the opportunity to run and explore a real pumpkin patch and pick your carving pumpkin right off the vine! Our second hayride option is a ride only that continues through the pumpkin patch, the sunflowers field and back to the farm where you can continue to play. All hayrides are $5/rider, those 2 and under are free. Pumpkins are not included in the ride price, since our patch offers a such a range of pumpkin sizes. You have the opportunity to pick small pumpkins for the kiddies, or extra large carving pumpkins for the best Jack-o-lantern on the street! Pumpkins from this patch are $.49/pound. Weekends also include our barrel train for riders age 2-9, and is $3/rider, or 2 rides for $5. We also have invited food trucks this year on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11-6, weather permitting. Now you can play all day and stop for a lunch at Maka Mia Pizza, Bullard’s BBQ, Legasea East Coast Cafe, or grab a sweet treat from Katie’s Classic Cookies, Green Township Funnel Cakes, Amaizing Grace Kettle Corn, Kona Ice or Grounded Coffee (Food truck schedule may change weekly). If you’re looking for a picture perfect fall adventure, its here waiting for you! Hope to see you soon!

Welcome 2021!

January is a month full of hope, anticipation, and planning for the new year. This past year was hard on a lot of people, and it definitely wasn’t without it’s challenges for us. It did force us to grow and expand in a number of new and positive ways. We are hopeful that we are able to continue to utilize what we learned, and implement several of these new experiences, to make 2021 a great year.

We want to say a special thank you, to all of our loyal, regular customers who continue to return year after year, and we are eager to welcome all those who were first timers last year, as you now have the opportunity to be a “regular”. The conversations we have with you every day are one of the most rewarding parts about this business.

While we are putting the finishing touches on our plans for the 2021 season we want you to know we are anxious to get back in the greenhouses, anxious to start knocking the dust off and loading up the store shelves, and anxious to start seeing your smiling faces once again.

We are often asked when we plan to open for the year around this time. This is very much controlled by the weather. Our goal is to open the first week of April, but mother nature often adjusts our plans. The best way to stay up with current info from the farm is to “like” our Facebook page. This is were we go first primarily because it is the easiest for us to update regularly. One of our goals for this year is to expand our range on Instagram, so you can also check in with us there. We are first and foremost farmers and people of the earth, so technology and communication are not our strong suit. We will continue to do the best we can.

So until the weather breaks, stay warm, stay safe and enjoy this time to rest and plan for the upcoming year.
