In October we hold school tours, where kids visit our Farm Classroom we set up in our greenhouse. They will learn about farming as well as many interesting facts about where our food comes, healthy eating, and how it gets from the farm to the table. They will then take a hayride, crawl through a straw maze, walk through a corn maze, visit with the animals and pick a pumpkin to take home with them! Classes can also choose if they would like to participate in our optional scarecrow building activity, where they will get to take their new friend back to school with them to remind them of their trip. Often the crop harvesting equipment is available to look at as well. Parents and kids both enjoy seeing the tractors, trucks and combines. We also have a new play village called “Tiny Town” where each little building is decorated inside with a different agricultural theme.
The school tours fill up quickly so be sure to book yours today! For more information or to schedule your tour please call us at (513) 738-0404.
