Plant Care Staff
Learn the care of a wide range of Annuals, Perennials, Tropicals, and shrubs. You will be trained on proper watering, plant health, and maintenance of all live materials. Watering will be a large part of the responsibilities, but it may also include planting, trimming, stocking, pricing and displaying plant material. You will learn to monitor inventory and need to be able to communicate effectively with all other watering staff. Maintain professional customer service interactions. Previous experience is appreciated, but not required. Must be able to handle working in an outdoor environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work early shift from approximately 9am-3pm, with a minimum of 3 days per week with 1 day being on the weekend.
Retail Market Staff
You will be trained on the responsibilities of our retail Farm Market including taking care of customers, stocking, pricing, and monitoring inventory of store items, staying informed on seasonal specialties and promotions, maintaining a clean sales floor and work environment, creating store displays, utilizing our Square Point of Sale system, answering phone lines, among other responsibilities. Occasional opportunities for working in the outdoor retail plant displays. Candidate needs to be flexible and adapt quickly to seasonal transitions in weather, inventory and pricing.
Greatest need is for opening shift
Fulltime and part-time shifts available and will vary depending on weather conditions and seasons. Each shift generally ranges from 4-6 hours a day. Opportunities for extra hours will be available if willing to learn other positions around the farm. Such as maintenance, planting and harvesting.
